With over a decade of experience photographing newborns professionally, I’ve developed a simple and structured approach to lighting, posing, and session flow.
My goal during these intensives is to help photographers build confidence through clear, repeatable techniques that can be applied in real newborn sessions.
All sessions take place in my Garden Grove studio and are tailored to your current experience level.

Each intensive is designed to focus on one primary skill or technique.
Before the session, you’ll choose the area you would like to work on — such as lighting setup, wrapping techniques, foundational posing, or improving session flow — so we can spend our time practicing and refining that skill in depth.

Who This Intensive Is For
These sessions are designed for beginner and intermediate photographers who want to start building or polish their posed newborn photography skills.
This intensive may be a good fit if you:
• Are new to posed newborn photography and want to build a strong foundation
• Feel unsure about lighting, wrapping, or posing techniques
• Want to improve hand placement and posing details
• Need help creating a smoother session flow

This training focuses specifically on posed studio newborn photography. Lifestyle newborn photography is not covered during this intensive.
What This Intensive Is Not
To keep the training focused on technique, we do not work with a live baby during the session.
Instead, we use a professional newborn posing doll to practice wrapping, positioning, and posing structure. This allows us to slow down, analyze positioning, and repeat techniques until they feel natural.
This intensive focuses strictly on posing, lighting, and session structure.
Business topics such as pricing, marketing, or editing workflows are not covered during this training.
